About Granite State Detachment #542

The Granite State Marine Detachment of the the Marine Corps League is made of a of a proud group of Regular Member Marines & Corpsmen as well as Associate Member friends and family. We are based in Manchester where we meet monthly at the Elks Lodge to discuss business like new member recruiting, local outreach & support programs, members in need, fundraising activities, events and other detachment involved items.

  • Did you serve in the Marines, work in the Marines as a Corpsman or have family friends in the Marines and felt that feeling of the Marine Corps camaraderie and want to experience that again?
  • Do you want to find a way to help Marines, their families and other veteran programs in the Southern New Hampshire area?
  • Do you just want to be connected to one of the finest veteran  organizations in the world?

Then it sounds like you should come out to an event and meet the detachment. If you want to prepare in advance of your first meeting, click through our those we serve and history pages to learn more about us, then click over to the membership page to complete your application.

Whether you were a combat Marine from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, Somalia, Iraq, Afghanistan or just served your enlistment on one of the many bases and ships across the United States Marine Corp and United States Navy, you are always welcome at the Marine Corps League. As President Ronald Reagan once stated, “Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't have that problem.” Come out and continue to make a difference.
